newborn session information
My newborn sessions are held in studio, in home or outdoors, preferably while baby is still nice and sleepy which is under 10 days old. If baby is older than this, it is no issue whatsoever, we make it work. Family and siblings are absolutely welcomed into newborn sessions, and I usually do a couple of different relaxed poses and setups at the beginning of the session so you can then relax while I work some magic with your fresh little bundle. Sessions include all props, wraps and headbands for indoor and outdoor sessions, while in home sessions are definitely more a relaxed feel, so I usually don't bring much along with me except for maybe a couple of cotton wraps. Sessions generally run for 1-1.5 hours, sometimes they can run a little longer if bub's needs extra feeding.
When do I book in?
I generally take your due date and booking fee when you have decided to go ahead with session. These are limited each month so I can ensure room for everyone, so getting in early and getting your booking fee sorted is a great idea. Once baby arrives we can then schedule in a session within the right time frame. If you are wanting an outdoor family newborn session I suggest booking in a date before baby arrives as my afternoons tend to book out quite a few months in advance. If you end up with a planned c'section date, or an induction date you're more than welcome to let me know prior and we can pre book a date for you so that we are all organised.
Once baby has made their appearance please let me know as soon as you can. A lot of babies seem to arrive all at the same time, so to get dates correct according to age is really helpful for me.
Do you photograph multiple babies? Yes I sure do! No triplets as yet but I have photographed a lot of twins, and I don't charge any extra for 2 or more :)
